Christian Pulisic is undoubtedly the best acquisition of last summer for Milan. Regarding his performance, Italian journalist of Sky Sport Italia, Peppe Di Stefano, said the following on Carlo Pellegatti's YouTube channel:
"Credit also goes to Stefano Pioli who strongly wanted him. He placed him on the right where he had hardly ever played before. There is something this coach does with some players who come from negative seasons or from Serie B teams like Tonali and Bennacer or who are young like Theo and Leao. He gives them important motivations and confidence, as happened for example with Loftus-Cheek."
Di Stefano continued to talk about Christian Pulisic:
"I didn't expect this from Pulisic, I expected a more media-driven personality, which he absolutely isn't, he's a very mild-mannered guy. He keeps improving, he's been scoring for four consecutive games now and he has even surpassed his number of goals in a single season. And we're only halfway through March, there are still several games left."
