Olivier Giroud is experiencing a very positive season in terms of numbers with AC Milan. Despite being 37 years old, he is still trusted by head coach Stefano Pioli as he has played a total of 36 matches (2640 minutes overall) across all competitions: Serie A, Champions League, Europa League, and Coppa Italia. Besides that, he has already scored 14 goals and provided 9 assists to his teammates.
There are, however, rumours that this may be his last season with the Rossoneri as his contract is due to expire at the end of the current campaign and with some MLS clubs plotting a possible move to land him on a free transfer.
The left-footed Frenchman, formerly of Chelsea, Arsenal, Grenoble, and Tours, is weighing his options. There are several possibilities for him: staying in Europe, remaining in Milan, going to the Middle East if he does not reach an agreement with the MLS outfit LAFC, as per The Athletic.
The talks are ongoing and LAFC are reportedly serious as they try to convince him to make the transfer in the summer.
