AC Milan's Algerian midfielder, Ismael Bennacer, left the training camp of the national team due to an injury.
The midfielder will have to miss the upcoming matches with the national team, and his condition will be evaluated day by day by the Rossoneri staff. Therefore, in agreement with coach Vladimir Petkovic, the player has left Algeria's training camp to continue treatment in Milan.
As per Calciomercato.com, the pain isn't severe, but the player won't be risked considering his recent knee injury that kept him out for a long time. Bennacer's focus is currently on the match on March 30 against Fiorentina, Milan's first game after the league resumes, for which Pioli hopes to have him available.
The midfielder will be monitored in the coming days, and if he doesn't make it for the game in Florence after the break, he should recover for the home game against Lecce scheduled for Saturday, April 6.
After the international break, Stefano Pioli's Milan will resume the league with an away match in Florence scheduled for Saturday, March 30, then there will be a home match against Lecce on Saturday, April 6, at 3, and the double Europa League clash against Roma (Thursday, April 1, and Thursday, April 18) with the game against Sassuolo in Reggio Emilia in between (Sunday, April 14). But the date to mark in red on the calendar is the derby against Inter, which will be played on Monday, April 22.
