In a friendly match last night at the Dom Alfonso Henrique stadium, Portugal beat Sweden with a score of 5-2. It was AC Milan's star, Rafael Leao, who opened the score with a powerful shot in the top corner.
At the end of the game, there was an interesting brief encounter between the former Lille player and the Swedish striker Viktor Gyokeres (linked with AC Milan) who also scored a goal. Both players echanged shirts.
Interviewed after the match, as reported by the Portuguese newspaper Record.pt, Gyokeres spoke about Rafael Leao:
"He's a fantastic player, and I admire his work. We talked a bit, but nothing special. He just told me I did well, and I told him he didn't do badly either."
He then talked about his season with Sporting:
"Sure, it's been fun playing here because I play for Sporting. It's been special and fun, even though it's been tough. It's been nice to score. Sporting? I feel very good, and we're doing well as a team. We'll continue as we are and maintain our position in the league. Then the next step will be to focus on Friday's game and reach the cup final."
