According to what SportMediaset reports on Italia Uno, AC Milan is working on renewing Mike Maignan's contract, which currently expires on June 30, 2026.
For now, however, there is still a gap between the parties: at this moment, the Rossoneri goalkeeper earns about just 3 million euros per season, while the AC Milan club directors are offering a salary set at 5 million eurors per season.
The Frenchman's entourage, though, continue to ask for more, specifically: 7 million euros per season. At the club's headquarters, there is confidence that common ground can be found to make progress towards an extension of the contract which would tie the former Lille player to San Siro until the summer of 2028.
Meanwhile, however, a top European club is monitoring the situation between the Rossoneri and Maignan. We are talking about Bayern Munich who remain interesting in securing the 28-year-old shotstopper.
