Xavier Jacobelli, a well-known journalist, speaking on Sky Sport, talked about Olivier Giroud, the French striker of Milan, and his future.
Here are his statements.
"Anyone who had to replace him would have a rather difficult task. This gentleman, who at 37 years old, if I'm not mistaken, has been consistently scoring in double figures since the 2013/14 season, obviously including goals scored with the national team when considering club jerseys, and is an absolute example of professionalism and attachment to the Milan shirt. It is clear that he is flattered by the offers, by the sirens coming from the MLS, but it is equally clear that only a player of the caliber of Zirkzee, assuming Bologna wants to give him up, could adequately replace him."
