Il Corriere della Sera chose the following words this morning in a headline to highlight the situation of Luka Jovic and AC Milan:
"Jovic and Milan, closer agreement for renewal"
In fact, the Rossoneri club managers and the striker are on the verge of reaching an agreement to extend the Serbian's contract, which expires on June 30th.
According to the Italian newspaper today, the AC Milan club directors do have the option to, in fact, 'enforce' an extension by one season at the end of the current campaign and they are increasingly convinced to do so.
After a very disappointing start to the season, Jovic unlocked himself in December and since then has scored eight goals, enough to convince Milan to renew his deal.
The contacts between the parties are frequent, and talks will intensify in the coming weeks between them.
