AC Milan have reportedly already initiated contacts for the renewal of Jan-Carlo Simic, even though the Premier League threat is alive and should not be underestimated.
The Serbian central defender, in fact, caught the eye already in his debut with the Rossoneri shirt, when against Monza not only did he debut as a professional in Serie A, but he also immediately scored his first goal with the first team.
After that appearance under the guidance of head coach Stefano Pioli, he had little space and mostly played in Ignazio Abate's Primavera. But this does not mean that the Rossoneri team does not want to bet on him for the future. In fact, it's quite the contrary.
As reported by Tuttomercatoweb, actually, the AC Milan club management have started with first contacts with the player's entourage for the renewal of his contract which is set to run out until June 30, 2025. It doesn't seem to be difficult to reach an agreement, also because the player would have expressed his willingness to stay with the Rossoneri. It should be noted, however, that there is interest from two Premier League clubs, Fulham and Bournemouth, who have explored the trail of Jan-Carlo Simic to know his contractual situation.
As for the future, it will then be necessary to understand whether he will be able to stay in the squad or if he will be sent on loan to gain more experience.
