Gerry Cardinale is expected this evening at San Siro to closely observe the match between Milan and Roma, valid for the Europa League quarter-finals.
The founder and managing partner of RedBird, however, has other commitments planned throughout the day, as highlighted today by La Gazzetta dello Sport.
Between April and May, he will have to make decisions on several aspects: second team, stadium, and club organisation.
During the day, he will meet Giorgio Furlani and Zlatan Ibrahimovic, while for tomorrow, not in Milan, a meeting is scheduled with Damien Comolli, president of Toulouse and candidate for a role at Milan. His inclusion is not certain because there is also the possibility of continuing the restructured working group from last summer on the table.
A working group that will soon also see Jovan Kirovski, sports director and Zlatan Ibrahimovic's man, as protagonist: he will take care of the U23 together with Daniele Bonera, the number one candidate for the role of coach. The club has decided: it wants to introduce the second team from next season, but everything will depend on the non-registration of a club in Serie C.
Regarding the stadium theme, finally, it will be an important evening in San Donato Milanese because a city council meeting will be held to discuss a motion to suspend the process related to the program agreement: if the majority holds, the program agreement will be initiated and the motion rejected. The letter would be sent tomorrow or next week to the interested parties to start the 12-18 month period of meetings and debates on the facility.
