This morning's print edition of Corriere della Sera analyses the latest defeat of Milan yesterday evening against Roma in the first leg of the Europa League quarterfinals (the return leg at the Olimpico is scheduled for next week): the Rossoneri completely missed the mark in the first half and the Giallorossi took advantage, finding the net for 1-0 at the 17th minute with Mancini scoring from a corner kick.
There was also great anticipation for the duel on the sidelines between Stefano Pioli and Daniele De Rossi: the Roma coach came out on top, surprising the Rossoneri boss by deploying Romelu Lukaku and Dybala in attack, with Stephan El Shaarawy on the right wing to counter Theo Hernandez. This tactical move threw off the AC Milan strong strong point, namely the left flank.
