AC Milan's head coach, Stefano Pioli, has an uncertain future. This season so far has been rocky in terms of continuity in performances and there have been several disappointing results in big occasions. That is why a move by Zlatan Ibrahimovic and his colleagues at Casa Milan for a new boss to take over after the former Fiorentina man is not really excluded.
One of the names who has been linked with a move to Milanello is former Juventus and Inter boss, Antonio Conte. However, Napoli seem to be closing in on landing him.
In fact, as per Milan Reports director Vito Angelè, Napoli are the club who are the closest to securing Conte's services. There have been important contacts with Aurélio De Laurentiis. For his part, the former Italy national team head coach made some requests such as signing the likes of Italian centre-back Alessandro Buongiorno and Ciro Ferrara joining his staff.
