Pioli and Milan are putting everything on the line. Tonight at 9:00 PM CET at the Olimpico Stadium, the Rossoneri will be hosted by the Giallorossi in the second leg of the Europa League quarter-finals.
The Rossoneri need to overturn the 0-1 loss from the first leg against the team of Daniele De Rossi, and to do so, the Emilian coach is reportedly willing to make two changes to the lineup compared to the starting eleven seen from the 1st minute at San Siro seven days ago.
The first change is quite expected: Fikayo Tomori regains his spot in the centre of defence after suspension, replacing Malick Thiaw. The second change is much less predictable: in midfield, it will be Yunus Musah's turn to provide quantity alongside, most likely, Reijnders. The American is Pioli's bold move to ensure more muscle but also offensive drive.
The newspaper also focuses on another tactical alternative that, however, doesn't seem to be the chosen one. A 3-4-3 without Ruben Loftus-Cheek and Davide Calabria, with Samuel Chukwueze and Malick Thiaw. Christian Pulisic shall step in to be the fourth midfielder alongside Theo Hernandez. It's not excluded that we might see this solution during the match.
