After the double blow suffered in the Europa League against Roma, Stefano Pioli's fate seems to be increasingly distant from the Rossoneri. This has sparked speculation about the next coach.
Thiago Motta and Julen Lopetegui are among the candidates to replace the current coach.
As per Calciomercato.com, a former AS Roma boss could return to Serie A and take on the Milan job.

It's reported that there have already been informal contacts between Milan and the former Roma coach, both with agent Marco Abreu and with an agency that could act as an intermediary for any potential deal.
