For Olivier Giroud's farewell to AC Milan, only the official announcement is missing. The French striker will join his friend Lloris at Los Angeles FC in the American MLS.
For this reason, the search for a new striker at AC Milan becomes more urgent. Today, in the pages of La Gazzetta dello Sport, a name that was much talked about, especially during the January transfer window, resurfaces: Serhou Guirassy of Stuttgart. The headline in the newspaper reads:
"Guirassy, new contacts. Liked, scores, and costs little."
As reported today by the newspaper, after the unsuccessful attempts in the winter, which ended in nothing both due to Jovic's conribution with some goals and the changes to the Decreto Crescita (Growth Decree), AC Milan managers have re-established contact for Guirassy.
The Guinean is having his best season ever with 27 goals scored between the Bundesliga and the DFB Pokal: after surprising everyone in the first half of the season, he continued to score without stopping even in the second half.
What intrigues AC Milan the most in all of this is the 17.5 million euros release clause, which is very affordable. The obstacle, as often happens, is the Premier League: if offers were to arrive from England, the player's preference would be given to the English Premier league.
