AC Milan need to sign a new striker after the anticipated exit of French striker Olivier Giroud who is heading to MLS side LA FC.

With the announced departure of the Frenchman and Jovic's fate still uncertain, it's more important than ever for the club not to make a mistake in acquiring the new striker. The number one dream is called Joshua Zirkzee, but with Bologna's high demands and competition, it's wise to create alternatives.

According to what Gazzetta dello Sport writes this morning, Milan's Plan B would be Serhou Guirassy, a 28-year-old Guinean striker playing for Stuttgart where he has had the best season of his career this year.

With 25 goals, already an excellent tally, he's second in the Bundesliga's top scorer list only behind Harry Kane, who usually has a separate league in that regard. Despite Guirassy's ID being more aged compared to Zirkzee's, the operation could be advantageous economically: Guirassy could be acquired by paying his release clause, 17.5 million euros, as pointed out by the Italy-based website Milan News.
