One of the options being considered by Milan for the future of their bench leads to Belgium and to a former player like Mark Van Bommel, coach of Antwerp who led the team to win the national championship last year and who would have been particularly suggested by the super consultant Ibrahimovic.
According to reports from the Netherlands, the home country of the coach and former midfielder, Van Bommel's new professional destination could be in the Eredivisie. Indeed, Feyenoord is on the hunt for a replacement for Arne Slot, who will replace Klopp as the new coach of Liverpool. At that point, the doors of the Rotterdam club could therefore open for Van Bommel.
However, there are several other candidates being evaluated by the Rossoneri management: from the vanished name of Julen Lopetegui, with whom an agreement had been reached but then reversed, to the Portuguese tandem composed of Paulo Fonseca, current coach of Lille, and Sergio Conceicao, whose renewal until 2028 with Porto has become complicated, as relayed via Milan News.
