The sporting director of Inter, Piero Ausilio, gave a lengthy interview to the microphones of Libero. In the dialogue, he revealed that Inter were close to securing the services of Rafael Leao. But, negotiations failed. The Inter director, though, refused to disclose why a move couldn't happen.
Was Leao close to Inter?
"Leao was very close to Inter, I had a meeting with him in London and we reached an agreement. Then I won't tell you why we didn't conclude it anymore."
