This season hasn't been very fortunate for Ismael Bennacer. Unfortunately, his return from his injury hasn't had the desired effects for Milan, and the Algerian has gradually lost positions in Stefano Pioli's hierarchy due to the physical issues which he had to overcome, as relayed via Milan Press.
This summer could be a turning point for the Milan midfielder. The reason? German club Borussia Dortmund may be interested in securing his services.
According to reports from Shoot Africa, the midfielder could move to the yellow and blacks if they manage to win the UEFA Champions League. The fee is expected to be around 35 million euros, but first, they have to beat Real Madrid at the Wembley stadium.
Bennacer's contract with AC Milan runs until 2027. The 26-year-old Algerian player has made 23 appearances so far this season with 1168 minutes played in total. He managed to score one goal besides two assists in the Serie A.
