Divock Origi failed to impress in the Premier League with Nottingham Forest. The Belgian player went there on loan from Milan last summer with an option to buy. However, he only played less than 800 minutes overall with the team and failed to score a goal in the league.
The 29-year-old striker, formerly of Liverpool, scored only once in the FA Cup competition and provided one assist in the Premier League.
An official statement was published by Nottingham Forest, confirming that the Milan loanee will not remain with them. Here are the words:
"The club can also confirm that Gio Reyna, Divock Origi, Nuno Tavares, Gonzalo Montiel and Rodrigo Ribeiro have reached the end of their loan spells on Trentside.
"Nottingham Forest would like to thank each player for their contribution during their time at The City Ground, and wishes them well for the future."
