Milan continues to work on securing a new coach as well as a new striker. The hottest names are still the same: in recent weeks, the focus has been on Joshua Zirkzee from Bologna and Benjamin Sesko from Leipzig, but the path to Serhou Guirassy, the Stuttgart forward, also remains open, as reported this morning by La Gazzetta dello Sport.

In fact, the Italian newspaper explained that the Stuttgart club managers are in Italy and have had contacts already with Milan to discuss the Guinean forward. There is little to debate about the transfer fee since he has a release clause of 17.5 million euros, but the two clubs can negotiate various conditions, specific payment methods, and other details.
Compared to Zirkzee and Sesko, Guirassy is less talked about in the media, but his numbers this season have been extraordinary: 30 goals in 30 matches between the Bundesliga and the DFB-Pokal.
While the transfer fee is not a major issue since 17.5 million euros for a number nine is quite low, everything revolves around the top salary demanded by the Stuttgart player, who is also highly favored in the Premier League.
As La Gazzetta dello Sport notes, in England, a salary of 5 million euros, hypothetical but not far from reality, is granted without problems. In Italy, due to budget constraints and locker room balance, it is less simple.
Besides Zirkzee, Sesko, and Guirassy, also keep an eye on Jonathan David from Lille, especially if Paulo Fonseca ends up replacing Stefano Pioli on the Milan bench.
