According to L'Equipe, after missing the last few matches with Milan due to a muscle problem, the Frenchman has reportedly suffered a new injury. This time, it is his finger. The incident happened during a morning's training session at Milanello.
The Frenchman was supposed to return as a starter on Saturday against Salernitana in the last official match of the season for the AC Milan squad. At this point, however, he will also miss this game.
In the coming hours, Maignan will undergo further tests to determine the severity of his injury and especially to understand the recovery time ahead of the European Cup with the France national team. Coach Didier Deschamps will announce the final list of players for Euro 2024 on June 7.
