The prime candidate to lead AC Milan as new coach is Paulo Fonseca. The Portuguese tactician met with Lille recently. The Ligue 1 side offered him a contract renewal. But, the former Roma boss decided to take some time. He is aware that besides Lille, the Rossoneri club and Olympique Marseille are also interested.
This morning, 'La Provence' newspaper, reiterated that Olympique has not yet given up on Paulo Fonseca and hopes to be able to hire him.
Despite Italian media almost considering him as the new Rossoneri coach for sure, Fonseca has not yet made his decision, and for this reason, Marseille is still hopeful that the the former Shakhtar Donetsk gaffer will be their new coach in view of the new season.
