Antonio Percassi, president of Atalanta, which recently won the Europa League after defeating Bayer Leverkusen 3-0 in the final, gave an extensive interview to Gazzetta dello Sport.
In it, he not only celebrated his team for the club's first European trophy in its history but also confirmed the intention of the Nerazzurri to redeem Charles De Ketelaere from AC Milan:
"We like him, he's doing well: we will move forward together."

Milan News points out that the agreement reached in the summer between Milan and Atalanta is as follows: a paid loan of 3 million euros, with a purchase option set at 23 million euros plus 4 million euros in bonuses (two million tied to qualification for the next Champions League and two million tied to personal objectives).
Additionally, there is a 10% sell-on clause in favour of Milan. The Rossoneri club does not have an option for a buy-back.
