As reported by La Gazzetta dello Sport this morning, the announcement of Paulo Fonseca as the new Milan coach is almost confirmed.
The signatures could be completed soon. Milan appreciates him for his style and the work he has done with young players, from Yoro to Tiago Santos.
The contract could be for two years with an option for a third (around 3 to 3.5 million euros net per season). At Milan, Fonseca will need to combine future development with attention to the present, along with his characteristic offensive spirit and the defensive focus seen at Lille.
Fonseca, however, is not a name that pleases the fans, who have protested online. Some chants might even be heard on Saturday at San Siro.
