Carlo Pellegatti, a well-known AC Milan fan, spoke about Paulo Fonseca, who is expected to be the next AC Milan coach. The renowned journalist discussed a potential intuition that Milan did not act on for their coaching position.
Here are his words for Radio Rossonera.
"As a coach, I believe Fonseca offers more guarantees. I wouldn't have gone for him, but for Farioli, for example. If we're talking about gambles, wasn't it enough to see that Arsenal took Guardiola's assistant? Why not have the intuition to go for Klopp's assistant (Pep Lijnders)? Now he's gone to Salzburg, and in a year or two, we'll surely see him at Leipzig. Fonseca is a good coach; it won't be a disaster. Clearly, if you go for Klopp's assistant, it can either be the opportunity of a lifetime or the mistake that makes you start all over again."
Il Milan ha scelto un altro allenatore che non ha vinto niente di importante. Presumo che Red Bird si accontenti della mediocrità e continui a vendere i giocatori più forti del Milan.
