While awaiting the announcement of the new AC Milan coach, who, barring any surprises, is expected to be Paulo Fonseca, the club is already making moves in the transfer market to strengthen the squad for the new coach for the upcoming season.
According to the Sky Sport Italia's journalist Gianluca Di Marzio, Milan had a meeting today at their headquarters with Stefano Castagna, the agent of Emerson Royal, the right-back currently playing for Tottenham (who had already been linked to the Rossoneri in recent days), to explore the possibility of a transfer.
As of now, however, nothing advanced regarding the negotiation.
This season with Tottenham, the former Real Betis and FC Barcelona right-back made 24 appearances with 1335 minutes played in total. The 25-year-old Brazilian player (with a Spanish passport) has a running contract with the Spurs until the summer of 2026.
