The topic of the coaching bench remains the hottest issue around AC Milan.
The official announcement is expected next week, as per sources, with Paulo Fonseca likely to be the new coach of the Rossoneri.
After already discussing it in 'La Gazzetta dello Sport,' Arrigo Sacchi speaks again about the probable choice of the Rossoneri. Here is his opinion in 'Libero.'
"I've lost track of Fonseca a bit in recent years, so I prefer not to go into specifics because I don't know him that well. Let's hope he turns out to be a strategist for Milan, although he seems more like a tactician to me. He certainly isn't a name I would have thought of."
Sacchi added:
"De Zerbi. A guy who has always done well wherever he has been. He would have been the ideal coach for Milan. Roberto (De Zerbi) is one of the best coaches around: I've known him for many years. I'll reveal something to you: I admired him so much that five years ago I helped him get to Sassuolo by recommending him to Carnevali."
