A few days ago, after being eliminated from the championship playoffs, coach Ignazio Abate announced his departure from the bench of Milan's Primavera team. Consequently, the casting to find a new coach has begun at Casa Milan.
As reported this morning by Tuttosport, the head of Milan's youth sector, Vincenzo Vergine, has evaluated several profiles, and now Federico Guidi is in the lead. Guidi is currently the coach of Roma's Primavera team, which was defeated by Sassuolo in the championship final on Friday.
After the match against Sassuolo, Guidi spoke about his future:
"My future? I haven't had the chance to talk with the club yet, but we will do so in the coming days and we'll see where I'll be next year." Vergine knows him very well, as the two have already worked together in the youth sectors of both Fiorentina and Roma.
