According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Milan will once again explore the possibility of signing Lilian Brassier in the summer. The defender, who is currently playing for Brest, has been previously sought after by Milan during the previous transfer window.
Brassier's contract is set to expire in 2025, which would allow Milan and other interested clubs to make a bid for him without spending a crazy amount, perhaps a fee around 10 to 12 million euros could be enough.
Interestingly, Paulo Fonseca, who is set to become the new Milan coach, has been closely following the player's performances in Ligue 1 this season and is reportedly a fan.
As relayed via Milan News, Olympique Marseille wanted to sign him by sending an offer to Brest. But, there is also interest expressed by Torino and Bologna to acquire his services. Milan's potential involvement, however, could change the dynamics of the situation.
