The top name on Milan's list is Emerson Royal, the Brazilian full-back with a past at Real Betis and Barcelona, currently at Tottenham.
Milan faced him in the 2022/2023 Champions League season, while in the just-ended season, Royal had less playing time due to the rise of the Italian player Udogie.
La Gazzetta dello Sport is optimistic about the success of the operation, thanks to the player's willingness:

The newspaper also states that there was another contact for Tottenham's right-back, who wants Milan and the English club managers have lowered their demands.
Until a few days ago, it was believed that the Londoners' request could amount to 30 million euros; today, the valuation seems to have lowered, making it more attainable for the management of the Rossoneri club.
