During the show "Calciomercato – L’Originale" on Sky Sport, Gianluca Di Marzio provided an update on Milan's pursuit of Bologna's Joshua Zirkzee. Here's what he had to say:
"Milan’s market man, Geoffrey Moncada, is in London. Zirkzee’s agent, Kia Joorabchian, also lives in London. We know that the issue of the Zirkzee-Milan situation is mainly this: the very high commission requested by the player’s agent."
Milan in a hurry for Zirkzee...
"Today, Moncada did not meet with Joorabchian, but he might see him tomorrow. These will be very important hours, as Milan is in a hurry to understand if they can really finalise the deal for Zirkzee, otherwise, they will need to focus on other targets. The player's agent is in less of a hurry because he knows that other opportunities may arise in the Premier League. Milan will have to be skillful in trying to bring Joorabchian's demands to more moderate levels.”
