Charles De Ketelaere spent the recently concluded season on loan at Atalanta from Milan and it was a positive campaign for him and for his new team. The agreement made about 12 months ago with Atalanta included a loan with an option to buy set at 22 million euros, along with a 10% resale clause in favor of Milan.
In recent days, Atalanta has requested a discount from the Milan management, and there could be developments on this matter in the coming hours.
According to Daniele Longo of Calciomercato.com, there appears to be a small opening in the negotiations on Milan's side.
There is cautious optimism between the parties, and the 2001-born player, who was acquired from Club Brugge for around 35 million euros, is moving towards a confirmation in the black-and-blue (Atalanta).
