AC Milan are still very keen on signing the Dutch forward of Bologna, who is currently with the Netherlands national team in the Euro Cup in Germany. But, no agreement has been reached just yet with the agent who represents the former Bayern Munich talent, Kia Joorabchian.
Gianluca Di Marzio, a market expert, spoke to Sky Sport about the negotiations in this way:
"Manchester United has considerable financial strength and has accounted for meeting Kia's commission demands; in the Premier League, such demands are quite customary. However, in Italy, Italian clubs, or some owners, do not consider certain requests that exceed a certain percentage of the release clause to be fair."
He continued to talk about the race between Manchester United and Milan for Zirkzee:
"But, I repeat: these are requests that someone might satisfy if Manchester United meets the agent's demands, but Milan has absolutely not given up."
