There's a lot of talk about incoming transfers, but at Milan, they know well that it will also be a very busy summer on the outgoing front because there are several surplus players to place. Some have already left on permanent transfers, such as De Ketelaere, Krunic, and Messias, or on loan, like Lazetic, who has returned to Serbia to play for Backa Topola. However, there are still many players who are not in Milan's plans and will need to find new teams.

This morning, Tuttosport reported a list of Milan players who are set to leave after returning from their respective loans: goalkeeper Vasquez, defenders Pellegrino and Ballo-Touré, and offensive players Saelemaekers, Origi, Romero, Daniel Maldini, Chaka Traorè, Nasti, and Colombo. These players, between amortization and gross salary, weigh on the club's finances to the tune of about 17 million euros. Some of them, like Saelemaekers and Maldini, have no shortage of offers: the Belgian is liked by several Serie A clubs, while Daniel has been approached by the two Roman clubs and Atalanta. Pellegrino is likely to return to Argentina (being courted by River Plate and Independiente), while there will be a new loan for young players Colombo and Nasti, both destined for mid-to-lower Serie A teams.

The most difficult cases are those of Fodé Ballo-Touré and Divock Origi, who will return to Milanello after rather disappointing seasons on loan at Fulham and Nottingham Forest respectively, and who significantly impact the club's budget. Tommaso Pobega is liked by Torino and Fiorentina, but he could be useful to Milan for the UEFA list. Yacine Adli will be assessed by Fonseca, while the future of Alessandro Florenzi remains to be seen. Florenzi has previously worked with the Portuguese coach during their time at Roma, but there has never been great chemistry between them, to the extent that the fullback requested a loan move twice.
