Srečko Katanec gave an interview to La Gazzetta dello Sport in which he also spoke about Benjamin Šeško, who was sought after by Milan in recent weeks but remained with Leipzig. These are the words of the former coach of Slovenia on Šeško's decision to stay in Germany:
"I think he did well to extend the contract because I believe he is not yet ready for the pressure of playing in a big club. I had read about Milan's interest, but it is difficult to go to a team like that at such a young age, where if you don't score for 2-3 games, there are problems. I think he made a very good choice: in Leipzig, they are patient and give players time. In Italy, if you go to such a strong team, you have to perform well immediately."
