Monza is still working to finalise the permanent signing of AC Milan's attacking midfielder Daniel Maldini. The player, who spent the second half of the last season on loan at Monza, is Adriano Galliani's gift for the new coach Alessandro Nesta.
As reported by Gazzetta dello Sport, there is still some negotiation to be done with the Rossoneri to avoid overpaying for the attacking midfielder, considering he has only one year left on his contract with the club.
On Milan's side, there is a willingness to let Paolo's son leave, but not for free: At Casa Milan, the attacking midfielder is valued at 3-4 million euros, while the Biancorossi want to negotiate more favourable terms.
