Only the official confirmation was missing, and now it has arrived: the Federal Council, which was held today in Rome, has officially confirmed that Milan Under 23 will participate in the Serie C 2024-2025 championship. The Rossoneri team, which has taken the place of Ancona and will be coached by Daniele Bonera, will find out in the next few hours which of the three groups they will be placed in (the group draw will take place tomorrow morning). According to the regulations, Juventus, Atalanta, and Milan, the three Serie A teams with an U23 team, must be in three different groups: one in group A, one in group B, and one in group C.
This is the note from the FIGC reported by tuttomercatoweb.com: "Following Ancona's non-admission to the Serie C 2024/25 championship, which created a vacancy to be filled, and having received positive feedback from Covisoc and the Infrastructure Commission regarding the application for reinstatement, the Federal Council voted for the admission of Milan U23."
