Gianluca Di Marzio, speaking live on Sky Sport 24, confirmed, Milan's interest in midfielder Adrien Rabiot. Here are his statements:
"There has been contact, Milan said 'We are here.' They evidently spoke with Rabiot's mother and made their offer. It's not in line with what Rabiot has earned in recent years, but it's still a significant proposal.
The player wants to wait until the end of the Euros, not making it a matter of the club or disrespect towards Juventus. He would have preferred to resolve the situation before the Euros. That didn't happen, and once the Euros began, he didn't ask Juventus or other clubs for more. He simply wants to wait until the end of the Euros.
Then, whichever teams wait for him until the end of the Euros, he will consider and decide, with priority likely given to Juventus, based on his relationship with the club so far, assuming Juventus decides to wait a few weeks. Milan, however, needs to sign a midfielder. Whether it's Fofana, Rabiot, or Chelsea's young player Chukwuemeka, who can be signed regardless, Milan is definitely looking for a midfielder with those characteristics."
