The arrival of Fonseca in the city was marked by elegance and a desire to immediately get involved. The Portuguese coach landed at Malpensa looking polished, but right after, when he went to breathe the air of Milanello, he quickly changed into his training gear and visited every corner of his new 'home'.
And this is not just a figure of speech, as reported by the Gazzetta dello Sport this morning, Fonseca will live at the Rossoneri training center. At least for the first few months: searching for a house would have taken time and energy that he currently wants to dedicate entirely to the team.
Along with him, as mentioned, came the staff: Tiago Leal (assistant coach), Paulo Ferreira and Paulo Mourao (technical assistants), Antonio Ferreira (goalkeeping coach), and Nelson Duarte (match analyst). They will be joined by existing members of Milan: Giorgio Tenca and Igor Quaia (match analysts), Filippo Nardi (fitness coach), and Tony Roberts (goalkeeping coach). Tomorrow at 11 AM CEST is the introductory press conference at Casa Milan: first, a meeting with the management, and then, at 5 PM CEST, the first training session.
