La Gazzetta dello Sport took stock of AC Milan's possible incoming movements for this summer's transfer window. There was focus on how the Rossoneri are looking for an offensive-minded right-back. A priority target has already been identified for some time.
It is Emerson Royal, born in 1999, a Brazilian former Betis and Barcelona player in the Spanish La Liga who, since the summer of 2021, has been playing in the Premier League with Tottenham. The player cost the 'Spurs' 25 million euros and has played 101 matches in three seasons with the Londoners.
There is anticipation for the new meeting between Milan and Tottenham: the first offer from the Rossoneri, in fact, was rejected. Milan offered 10 million euros or slightly more, but the English club is asking for double that amount. In the transfer market, as we know, anything is possible, but negotiations will still be necessary.
Therefore, according to the the newspaper, the next meeting will reveal whether the parties intend to reach an agreement for the transfer of Emerson Royal to Paulo Fonseca's team.
