It's no secret that Milan wants to strengthen their defensive department as well.
In addition to a right-back, with Emerson Royal always at the top of the list (but watch out for competition from an Arab club), the Rossoneri also want to provide the new coach Paulo Fonseca with a central defender. For this role, the first choice remains Strahinja Pavlovic, a 2001-born player from Salzburg and the Serbian national team, as told by the Italian newspaper La Gazzetta dello Sport in this morning's print edition.
Pavlovic, who stands at 194 centimetres tall, is left-footed. His contract with RB Salzburg runs until the summer of 2027. He is a former player of Monaco, Partizan Belgrade, and FC Basel.
