AC Milan has reached a preliminary agreement with Youssouf Fofana, who has long been the Rossoneri's top target to strengthen the midfield. As explained this morning by La Gazzetta dello Sport, the parties have agreed on a five-year contract worth 2.5 million euros plus bonuses. The variable part still needs to be settled, though, but the player's intention is clear: he wants to play for the Rossoneri club with his national teammates Mike Maignan and Theo Hernandez.
Having concluded his experience at the European Championship after France's elimination in the semifinals against Spain, Fofana is currently on vacation and has once again told his entourage to do everything possible to get him to wear the Milan jersey.
Now the Rossoneri club will have to reach an agreement with Monaco, which is asking for 20 million euros plus bonuses (the first Milan offer will be 15 million euros, including bonuses).
