La Gazzetta dello Sport provided an update on Davide Calabria, the defender and captain of Milan, whose contract with the Rossoneri club will expire at the end of this season (June 30, 2025). The parties have not yet reached an agreement for renewal.
There is mutual calm and the common desire between Calabria and Milan to continue the journey together, but an agreement is still far off. According to the newspaper there is still a gap between the parties regarding the salary Calabria should receive in the new contract (he currently earns 2.2 million euros net per year).
The parties have scheduled a meeting at the end of the summer transfer window to try to reach an agreement. However, this agreement is now not as certain as it seemed not long ago.
