The AC Milan club management is ready to make its first move in defence. According to Calciomercato.com, the negotiation for Strahinja Pavlovic is in an advanced stage: in the past few hours, a rumour from Austria has circulated that the Rossoneri club is close to signing the Serbian player for a figure around 25 million euros, including bonuses, but the final price should be different.
In fact, the Rossoneri club management is aiming to close the deal at a fee around 20 million euros.
Pavlovic has already said yes to the Rossoneri: he arrived in Austria two years ago for 7 million euros from Monaco, which had purchased him for 10 million euros from Partizan Belgrade in 2020, then loaned him first to Cercle Brugge in Belgium and then to Basel in Switzerland.
Pavlovic is under contract with RB Salzburg until June 2027 with a salary of around 750,000 euros net per season, Milan is ready to guarantee him double the salary: around 1.5 million euros net per season.
