According to SportMediaset on Italia Uno, while waiting to finalise the deal for Emerson Royal, Milan continues to work on Youssouf Fofana. Despite his contract expiring next summer, Monaco is holding firm and still asking for 30 million euros for the French midfielder.
The Rossoneri have offered 15-18 million euros to sign the defensive midfielder.
West Ham was also interested in Fofana but is closing a deal with Guido Rodriguez, reducing the competition for the French midfielder.
Regarding Lazar Samardzic: the words of Udinese's director Nani have confirmed that the player might leave, but only if a suitable offer comes in. Milan is still interested in the midfielder and is considering the right offer to present to the Udinese management. However, the Rossoneri must first free up space in the midfield: watch out for the possible departure of Ismael Bennacer, who has a release clause of 50 million euros, and especially of Yacine Adli, who is finding little space with Fonseca.
