Carlo Pellegatti, in one of his usual YouTube videos, talks about the difficult negotiation with Monaco to acquire Youssouf Fofana. These are his statements:
"I still find the Fofana negotiation extremely complicated. I can't understand at this moment what Monaco's attitude might be. Milan started so low and then reached 20 million euros; it would have been better to start at 17-18..."
Pellegatti continued to talk about the Youssouf Fofana deal:
"Now we need to see if Milan will conclude its increases at 20 million euros. But there is already a 5 million difference if Monaco were to drop by 10, even 15 million if Monaco sticks to its position. It's an extremely complicated negotiation, full of small details, annoyances, irritations, grudges, and petty grievances. It's a negotiation that goes beyond just the economic aspect. That's why I find it very, very complicated."
