AS Roma's centre-forward, Tammy Abraham, formerly of Chelsea, does not listen too much to market rumours which link him to Milan.
The player, according to reports, is a target for Paulo Fonseca. The club, however, would like to sign him on a loan with an option to buy. The English striker himself commented on the situation after the friendly match of his team against Everton.
Here's what he said to the media in a press conference:
"The rumors about Milan are there and they’re pleasant because it means I’m doing things well. But this is my first preparation after the injury; I’m focused on Roma and what I want to do here."
Abraham continued:
"Competition from Dovbyk? I’ve been used to competition since I was a child, to fighting for a place. He is a great striker, but I want to do my part. And maybe one day De Rossi could even give us the chance to play together."
On his relationship with Fikayo Tomori, his friend:
"If Tomori writes to me to join Milan? We are great friends, we care about each other, and we talk often. But again, my mind is on Roma."
