Tomorrow evening, Milan will make its debut in Serie A 2024-2025 against Torino at San Siro. Ahead of this challenge, Paulo Fonseca still needs to resolve some formation doubts: in defence, Malick Thiaw and Mattia Gabbia are competing for a starting spot alongside Fikao Tomori, with a decision also pending between Ruben Loftus-Cheek and Yunus Musah, Samuel Chukwueze and Alexis Saelemaekers, aswell as Alvaro Morata (who is favoured) and Luka Jovic. This was reported by Sky Sport Italia today.
In today's press conference, as relayed via Milan News, Fonseca said that we should not expect to see Strahinja Pavlovic and Tijjani Reijnders as started. Here's his statement:
"Pavlovic and Reijnders are not in the best physical condition to start the match tomorrow; it will be difficult to see them in the starting lineup. They have the chance to come into the match, but from the beginning, it is difficult."
