Atalanta has inquired about Lazar Samardzic, reports Relevo journalist Matteo Moretto. Initial contacts between the parties have taken place, with the Nerazzurri club asking for information on the possibility of negotiating with Udinese for the former Leipzig playmaker.
The Serbian player is open to the possibility of joining La Dea.
AC Milan had a quick contact with Udinese in recent weeks and discussions with the player's entourage, but nothing further has been pursued.
Recently, the Udinese director said the following words about Lazar Samardzic's situation:
"Samardzic is one of the most sought-after players. There are some inquiries in Italy... especially in the north. However, our idea is to keep the best players in the squad unless there are offers that satisfy everyone. There is no intention to let him go easily. In that position, however, we are starting to have some good players."
