The second qualifying round of the Coppa Italia Serie C, concluded with the nine matches played last night, has set the stage for the round of 16, which will be played in a single match between November 26 and 28.
There was a perfect balance between home and away victories, both with a total of eight, highlighting the away qualifications of Potenza, Team Altamura, and Milan Futuro, who defeated Benevento, Picerno, and Novara, respectively.
Both finalists from the previous edition advanced: Padova defeated Feralpisalò 3-2 at Euganeo (with Varas' decisive goal at the end of extra time), while Catania needed penalties to overcome Crotone after a 1-1 draw at the end of the match.
In Saturday's games, victories and qualifications were achieved by Avellino, Caldiero Terme, Giugliano, Rimini, Torres, and Trapani, who were joined in the round of 16 by Arezzo, Perugia, LR Vicenza, Giana Erminio, and Pro Vercelli, all of whom qualified in Sunday's matches, as pointed out by Milan News.
